Couple’s for Christ Family Day (Taken with Instagram at Bansalan)
It was during college that mountaineering was included in my interests. I even joined our school’s popular mountaineering club - Earth Island Outdoor Environmental Club. Reason was that one of my crush was a member and active in all of the club’s activities.
Anyways, it was my dream to climb Mt. Apo! Unfortunately, i was not able to succeed with my plans when i was in college. Dad was the barrier. Now that I am already 25 years old, I guess I would be able to climb without even bothering if my dad would permit me or not.
After our no-sleep and tiring preparations, April 5 has come. And its time.. Our trail would be from Makilala. We had a seminar conducted at their municipality. Distribution of ID’s and signatures of non liability (that whatever will happen to us they will not be liable)
Bragging my ID

So the trekking started. First 5 hours was a hell! The carrying of the cross signifies my carrying of my 6 kls bag on my back. And its a shame i could not stand it in hours. I was catching my breath every step i took. And at the back of my mind i hear my dad’s laugh. His crisp laugh. That he was correct that I wouldn’t stand it there. I felt like turning back. Not moving on, but i said to myself, “I choose this race, and I will end it.”
Until we reach our first camp. Oh hell it was just our first camp there’s more to come! Uh-oh!
Here’s their happy smile the first morning we spend in nanay rosita’s crib

Our second day. We saw beautiful sceneries. Deifferent dimensions as we move forward to Mt. Apo’s Peak. Being with my beloved was a bonus and having a porter was a jackpot! Kuya was so thoughtful in carrying my bag.
At the fired-up forest

Robin Padilla was just 2 days ahead of us when we climb Mt. Apo

I got to hold this rifle and you got to see my 6InchesApartLegs, LOL

The Couple Pose, LOL

After the long walk and the epic slide, we arrived at the peak of the highest mountain in the Philippines. The feeling to be there cannot be defined by adjectives. It was so marvelous. God really made our place magnificent. An eerie feeling gushed with the wind knowing i’m a little distant to heaven.
Our trail can be defined as easy, but the moments and experiences we have will be different from others. I can say that climbing Mt. Apo is both heaven and hell. You got to be in Hell before entering Heaven.
I can now PROUDLY say, I’m the empress and he’s the conqueror of Mt. Apo.

I have lots of dreams in life. So many i don’t know what to prioritize. I want a beautiful house, a grand wedding gown and a dazzling groom. I also want to travel the world with the man i love.
We’re saving up for my dream wedding. Now here came the opportunity to travel out of the country. To see mickey mouse in person. On september! I haven’t booked the flight ticket yet. I have until tomorrow to decide. But i went up crazy with the thought of Hong Kong. Ugh!
I know its impractical to travel this year. Its costly and it will be againts our plans. Who to choose? Mickey mouse or beb?
